The graduation ceremony for the sixth edition of the Executive Masters in Management of Research Infrastructures (EMMRI) program was recently held. Participants presented their field projects at the University of Milano-Bicocca, applying the tools and concepts acquired throughout the EMMRI modules. The sessions and presentations took place in the “Sironi” Hall (Building U4) in Piazza della Scienza, Milan.

The ceremony honored the students’ hard work as well as the dedication and professionalism of the faculty. During the first two days, candidates (including Massimiliano Cannavò, Marta Della Torre, Agnieszka Piszczek, Shuai Wang, Tommaso Vaccarezza, Irek Suleymanov, Federica Mantovani, Marco Morelli, Michele Crisafi, Jan Ostrizek, and Jessica Lindvall) presented and discussed strategic and innovation projects. The discussions were guided and evaluated by committees composed of professors and advisors such as Marialuisa Lavitrano, Enrico Guarini, Markus Pasterk, Francesco Paoletti, Elisabetta Marafioti, and Monica Rossolini. This Master’s program is specifically designed for managers and leaders of Research Infrastructures.

The Graduation Ceremony, culminating on the morning of May 8, highlighted the opportunity for participants to engage with leading scientists and managers, fostering a stronger research environment within the EU. It marked the beginning of a lasting connection with the University and the expansion of a permanent community of practice and professionals across all Research Infrastructures. This initiative aims to promote existing excellence, create dedicated forums for discussion, and share knowledge, resulting in a repository of best practices and experiences for practical learning.

The Executive Masters in Management of Research Infrastructures is an international managerial development program designed to meet the specific needs of Research Infrastructures.
