The emphasis was on understanding the complexity of RI environment, decision-making and implementing the strategy process within the organisation. In line with the vision of the Executive Master, the learning points of the module, coordinated by professor Elisabetta Marafioti, from University of Milano-Bicocca, provided a theoretical basis for strategy improvement, based on mainstream management theory and contemporary business experience.

The emphasis was on strategic planning and the features and peculiarities of Research Infrastructures. A fruitful discussion has arisen, among participants, in order to understand the importance of strategic design and implementation.
